As a software engineer, you will work on a specific project critical to Google’s needs with opportunities to switch teams and projects as you and our fast-paced business grow and evolve. Google Arts and Culture was launched in 2011 to support digital innovation in cultural access and preservation around the world. Team's key effort is to build a platform for institutions to bring their content online in a way that is easily accessible to broad audiences. We combine tools and services designed to help institutions digitize existing materials in physical collections then store and share them online, creating new and innovative user experiences bringing our expertise in new technologies and storytelling. This role supports creative coders and artists in residence, ensuring the stability, security, and launch readiness of public-facing experiments utilizing external models like Gemini and internal models. This is a fast paced role, with a very varied set of demands, connecting the external world and the internal process. Google is an engineering company at heart.
